youtube-downloader.website respects the rights of creators and copyright owners. This page explains how the Service works with regard to copyrighted material and how to report a problem.
1. How the Service handles content
The Service does not host a library of videos and does not publish or index any content. A file is created only when a visitor submits a link, is stored temporarily so that this visitor can save it, and is deleted automatically after about 15 minutes. Visitors agree in our Terms of Service to use the Service only for content they are entitled to download.
2. Reporting infringement
If you are a copyright owner (or their authorised agent) and you want a specific video to be excluded from the Service, send a notice to [email protected] that includes:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed;
- the exact YouTube URL(s) of the video(s) you want blocked;
- your name, organisation (if any), postal address, telephone number and e-mail address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
3. What we do with a valid notice
We add the reported video(s) to a block list so that they can no longer be processed through the Service, and we delete any temporary file that may still exist. We aim to act on complete notices promptly.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe a video was blocked by mistake — for example because you are the owner or the content is licensed for reuse — write to the same address with the URL concerned, your contact details and an explanation, and we will review the block.
5. Misuse of this procedure
Knowingly submitting a false or misleading notice may have legal consequences. Notices that do not contain the information listed above may not be processed.
6. The original video
We have no control over content published on YouTube. To have the original video removed, please use YouTube’s own copyright-complaint process.
