What the service does
When you paste a link, our server reads the public details of the video — title, length, available qualities — and shows them to you. If you pick a format, the server fetches the video from YouTube, converts it into a standard MP4 or MP3/M4A file and hands it to your browser as a normal download.
Video is offered in every resolution the original has, up to 1080p. Audio is available as MP3 or as M4A in the original quality. Videos can be up to 2 hours long.
What we believe in
- Nothing to install. A modern browser is all you need, on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS.
- Nothing kept. Converted files exist only long enough for you to download them, then they are removed automatically.
- No tricks. No misleading buttons, no pop-ups, no “premium” upsell.
- Clear rules. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are short and written in plain language.
What we do not do
We do not host a library of videos, we do not index or publish content, and we are not affiliated with YouTube or Google. The service is a technical tool, and you are responsible for using it only with content you are allowed to download — your own uploads, works under a permissive licence, or videos whose owner has given you permission.
Rights holders can ask us to block a video through the Copyright & DMCA page; we act on complete notices promptly.
