Questions about this tool
Why can I only choose 720p for a certain video?
The creator uploaded it at 720p, or YouTube has not yet processed the 1080p version. Resolution cannot be added after the fact.
Is 1080p60 worth picking over 1080p?
If it is offered, the video was uploaded at 60 frames per second; motion looks smoother and the file is a little bigger. For talking-head content the difference is small.
How much space does a Full HD download need?
Plan for 15–30 MB per minute. The approximate size is listed beside every option.
I only want the sound — does resolution matter?
No. Audio has no resolution, so switch to the Audio tab and pick MP3 or M4A instead.
