About this tool
Under the hood a Short is a regular YouTube video with a tall 9:16 frame, which means it can be downloaded in exactly the same way. Paste a youtube.com/shorts/… address and the tool returns the vertical video at full resolution — most often 1080×1920 — as an MP4 you can keep, edit or share.
The clip comes back exactly as uploaded: no watermark, no logo, no cropping to a landscape frame. Want only the song or voice-over? Switch to the Audio tab and save it as MP3.

Does the youtu.be short link work too?
Yes. youtube.com/shorts/ID, youtu.be/ID and the ordinary watch?v=ID link all lead to the same video and all are accepted.
Is a logo or watermark added to the download?
Never. The file is the original upload, untouched.
How do I save a Short to my iPhone?
Open this page in Safari and download the MP4. It goes to the Files app, and from there you can save it to Photos.
Is it OK to download other people’s Shorts?
Only when you have the right to: it is your own content, it is licensed for reuse, or the creator has agreed.
