About this tool
Search for a Mac downloader and you mostly find paid apps or command-line tools that need Homebrew first. None of that is necessary. Paste a link here, pick a resolution or an audio format, and the file goes to your Downloads folder like any other browser download.
Video comes as MP4 with H.264, which QuickTime Player, Photos, iMovie and Final Cut Pro open without conversion. For audio, choose MP3 or M4A — M4A goes straight into Apple Music as-is.

Questions about this tool
Safari refuses to download the file. How do I fix it?
Go to Safari → Settings → Websites → Downloads and set this site to Allow, or click the “Save it manually” link that appears once the file is ready.
Does QuickTime open the downloaded video?
For 1080p and lower, yes — those are H.264. 4K downloads use VP9 or AV1, which QuickTime may not support; VLC or IINA play them fine.
How do I get the audio into Apple Music?
Download it as M4A or MP3 and drag the file into the Music app window.
Does it matter whether my Mac is Apple Silicon or Intel?
Not at all. The conversion runs on our server; your Mac just receives a file.
